India on film
For three months, I traveled across India in search of stillness, and the desire to reconnect with what I love most: photography.
I began the journey with too much gear, afraid of making mistakes and missing important moments.
In time, I realized that this fear was the real mistake.
Imperfection is essential. It can hurt, but it makes us alive, real, and human.
I put everything else aside and started working with a single old film camera and a few rolls I had brought from Italy.
With only a handful of frames each day, and no way to see the results immediately, I became fully present in what I was doing.
I observed before shooting, allowing each moment to unfold without the pressure to capture it perfectly.
Freed from excess, both in my hands and in my mind, I rediscovered the quiet clarity that first drew me to photography.
This experience became something rare and transformative: simple, honest, and deeply alive.
